MCSO Press Release – Burglary Suspect Sought (Updated)
On 04-25-2012, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Patrol deputies were dispatched to the 400 Block of Pine Edge. Upon Deputies arrival they found the homeowner had been beaten and strangled by 1 male and 1 female intruder.
The male suspect has now been identified as Bobbie Dewayne Grubbs W/M DOB: 03/11/1970 (42 YOA) and a warrant for his arrest was issued out of Harris County for Aggravated Robbery (Fel-1).
On April 27, 2012, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was notified that the suspects were believed to be involved in a shooting in Shelby County.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT, DEA AIR, Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, and Texas DPS responded to a possible location and found both suspects in a stolen vehicle. Suspects were taken into custody without incident.

On 04-25-2012, Patrol Deputies were dispatched to the 400 Block of Pine Edge in South Montgomery County at approximately 1130 hours. When deputies arrived they found the homeowner had been beaten by suspects.
The female victim told deputies that she answered a knock at her door around 10:00 in the morning and a female that she recognized as a former house keeper engaged her in conversation and asked if she had any work for her.
A male then forced his way into the residence and the victim was assaulted by both of the suspects and tied up. Weapons and jewelry were stolen from the residence.
The complainant was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators have identified one of the suspects and have obtained a warrant for her arrest.
